The correct option is B -2
Using Laws of exponents, we know that $a^{m} \times a^{n} = a^{m + n}$ .
so, $2^{x} \times 2^{10} = 2^{x + 10}$
$\Rightarrow$ $2^{x + 10} = 2^{- 4 x}$
Since the bases are same equating the exponents we get, $x + 10 = - 4 x$
$\Rightarrow x + 4 x = - 10 \Rightarrow 5 x = - 10 \Rightarrow x = - 2$
