$4 x^{2} + 3 x + 2 = 0$

$a = 4, b = 3, c = 2$

$x = \frac{- b \pm \sqrt{b^{2} - 4 a c}}{2 a}$

$= \frac{- 3 \pm \sqrt{3^{2} - 4 (4) (2)}}{2 (4)}$

$x = \frac{- 3 \pm i \sqrt{23}}{8}$
