Find the value of 'x', if AB is the line segment and PQ is its perpendicular bisector.

Solution
We know that any perpendicular bisector of a line segment divides the segment into two equal parts.
So, here, PQ as perpendicular bisector of AB will divide line segment AB into two equal parts.
One of the two parts i.e., OB is given as 7 cm then the other part i.e., AO will also be equal to 7 cm.
Hence the value of
x = 7 cm
.
