(i) 3x=81

3x=34

If base are same on both sides, we can equate the exponents.

x=4


(ii) 2x3=1

2x3=2

If base are same on both sides, we can equate the exponents.


x3=0

x=3


(iii) (3)3x5=19x

33x5=1(32)x

33x5=132x

33x5=32x

If base are same on both sides, we can equate the exponents.


3x5=2x

3x+2x=5

5x=5

x=1
