$\Rightarrow x=3\times 3$

$\Rightarrow x=9$

(b) $10:x::2:3$

$\Rightarrow \frac{10}{x}=\frac{2}{3}$

$\Rightarrow x=10\times \frac{3}{2}$

$\Rightarrow x=15$
