Given $\angle A=x°,\angle C=50°,\angle DBE=72°$

$\angle ABE=y°$

As DBA is straight line

$y°+72°=180°\Rightarrow y=108°$

we know opposite angles are equal

$\to \angle EBD=\angle ABC=72°$

we also know angles in a triangle (sum) = 180°

$72°+x+50°=180°$

$x=58°$

$(x,y)=(58°,72°)$
