In a magic square, sum of integers in each row, column and diagonal are equal.

Here,
$\Rightarrow$ 17 + y + 1 = 7 + 5 + 15 = 27
$\Rightarrow$ y = 27 - 18 = 9

Similarly, z + y + 5 = 27
$\Rightarrow$ z = 27 - 14 = 13


Similarly, x + z + 11 = 27
$\Rightarrow$ x = 27 - 24 = 3
