$\angle ABE=\angle ADE$ ...Angles inscribed in the same arc are congruent

$\therefore z={70}^o$

$m\angle BAD=\angle BED$ ...Angles inscribed in the same arc are congruent

$\therefore x=y$ ...(1)

Now, $z$ is the exterior angle to $\Delta BEC$

Hence, $z=\angle BEC+\angle BCE$

$\Rightarrow 70=y+30$

$\Rightarrow y={40}^o$ ....(2)

Hence, $x={40}^o$ ....From (1) and (2)
