d.(2p - 3q) + (3r - 2q) - (4p - 2r) when p = 1, q = 2, r = (-2).

Open in App
Solution

(2p - 3q) + (3r - 2q) - (4p - 2r)
= (2.1 - 3.2) + (3.(-2) - 2.2) - (4.1 - 2.(-2))
[by substituting the value of p, q, r]
= (2 - 6) + (-6 - 4) - (4 + 4)
= (-4) + (-10) - (8)
= -4 - 10 - 8
= -(4 + 10 + 8)
= -22
