or, 52² = 50² + 2 × (50) × (2) + 2²
or, 52² = 2500 + 200 + 4 = 2704

(2) 98² = (100 – 2)²
or, 98² = 100² – 2 × (100) × (2) + 2²
or, 98² = 10000 – 400 + 4 = 9604

(3) 63² = (60 + 3)²
or, 63² = 60² + 2 × (60) × (3) + 3²
or, 63² = 3600 + 360 + 9 = 3969

(4) 32 × 28 = (30 + 2) × (30 – 2)
or, 32 × 28 = 30² – 2²
or, 32 × 28 = 900 – 4 = 896

(5) 77 × 83 = (80 – 3) × (80 + 3)
or, 77 × 83 = 80² – 3²
