The correct option is A 3/2 m/s
Since the string is inextensible, length of the string remains constant. l1, l2, l3 and l4 are the intercepts of the string.
l1+l2+l3+l4=constant
Differentiating w.r.t time, we get the equation in the form of velocity i.e.
˙ l1+˙ l2+˙ l3+˙ l4=0
Assuming velocity of the intercepts whose length is increasing to be positive and velocity of block be vB
+2vBvB+1=0
vB=3/2 m/s
