Open in App
Solution

Given that, the radius of a sphere is 2.8 cm
To find out: The volume and surface area of the sphere.

We know that, volume of a sphere =43πr3
=43×227×(2.8)3[ π=227]
=1931.7821
=91.99 cm3

We also know that, surface area of a sphere =4πr2
=4×227×(2.8)2[ π=227]
=689.927
=98.56 cm2

Hence, the volume of the given sphere is 91.99 cm3 and its surface area is 98.56 cm2.
