Find the volume and surface area of a sphere of radius 4.2 cm. (π = 227)

Open in App
Solution

We have:
Radius of the sphere = 4.2 cm
Thus, we get:
Volume of the sphere = 43πr3
= 43×227×4.23
= 310.464 cm3
And,
Total surface area of the sphere = 4πr2
= 4×227×4.22
= 221.76 cm2
