Find the volu...
Question
Find the volume and the surface area of the cuboid having the following measures:
Length
=
6
m
,breadth
=
4
m
and
height
=
3
m
Open in App
Solution
Volume of cuboid = length x breadth x height
= 6 x 4 x 3
= 72 cubic meter
Total surface area of cuboid = 2 x ( lb + bh + lh )
= 2 x ( 6x4 + 4x3 + 6x3)
= 2 x ( 24 + 12 + 18 )
= 2 x 54
= 108 square meter
