On simply observing the given shape only $7$ small cubes are visible but there are total $9$ small cubes as depicted in below figure,
And each smaller cube has dimension as depicted in below figure,


Volume of each smaller cube $=4\times 4\times 4=64$ m${}^3$

• There are total $9$ smaller cubes in the given shape.

Therefore, Volume of given shape
$=9\times$ volume of one smaller cube
$=9\times 64=576$ m${}^3$
