(a)Volume =a3=(7)3=7×7×7m3

=343m3

(b)Lateral surface area =4a2

=4(7)2=4×49m2=196m2

(c)Total surface area =6a2=6(7)2m2

=6×49=294m2

(ii)Edge of cube (a)=5.6 cm.

(a)Volume =a3=(5.6)3cm3

=5.6×5.6×5.6cm2=175.616cm3

(b)Lateral surface area =4a2

=4(5.6)2=4×5.6×5.6cm62

=125.44cm2

(c) Total surface area =6a2=6×(5.6)2cm2

=6×5.6×5.6cm2=188.16cm2

(iii)Edge of cube (a)=8 dm 5 cm =85 cm.

(a)Volume =a3=(85)3cm3

=85×85×85=614125cm3

(b)Lateral surface area =4a2

=4×(85)2cm2
