Find the volume of a cylinder, the diameter of whose base is 7cm and height being 60cm. Also, find the capacity of the cylinderin litres.

Diameter of cylinder = 7cm
$\therefore$ Radius(r) = $\frac{7}{2}$ cm
Height (h) =60cm
$\therefore$ Volume = $\pi r^{2}h=\frac{22}{7}\times {\left(\frac{7}{2}\right)}^2\times 60c{m}^3=\frac{22}{7}\times \frac{7}{2}\times \frac{7}{2}\times 60=2310c{m}^3$
and capacity of the cylinder
$=\frac{2310}{1000000}\times 1000=2.310litres$
$1m^3=1000l$
