Find the volume of each of the given figure, if Volume = Base area $\times$ Height

$\because$ Volume of each of the given figure = Base area $\times$ Height
In Fig (a), base is rectangle
So, area of rectangle $=2x\times \frac{x}{2}=x^2$
$\therefore$ Height $=\frac{x}{2}$
$\therefore$ Volume of the figure $=x^2\times \frac{x}{2}=\frac{x^3}{2}$
In Fig (b), base is rectangle
So, area of rectangle $=y\times 3y=3y^2$
Height = 2y
$\therefore$ Volume of the figure $=3y^2\times 2y=6y^3$
In Fig (c), base is rectangle
So, area of rectangle $=2p\times 2p=4p^2$
Height = 2p
Volume of the figure $=4p^2\times 2p=8p^3$
