Observe the given figure, the radius of cone is r=2 cm and its height is h=3 cm.

Substitute the value of radius and height of cone in the formula of volume of cone, to calculate its value.

Volume of cone=13πr2h=13π(2)2(3)=4π cm3

Now, the radius of cylinder is given as 2 cm and its height as 6 cm, therefore its volume is calculated as,

Volume of cylinder=πr2h=π(2)2(6)=4(6)π=24π cm3

Thus, the volume of the given figure is commuted as,

Volume of given figure=Volume of cone+Volume of cylinder=4π cm3+24π cm3=28π cm3

Hence, the required volume is 28π cm3.
