Thickness of wood =2.5cm
l=60−2(2.5)=55cm
b=45−2(2.5)=45cm
h=32−2(2.5)=27cm
∴ The capacity of the box = l×b×h=(55×40×27)cm3=59400cm3
Total volume of box =L×B×H
=(60×45×32)cm3
=86400cm3
∴ Volume of wood used =Total volume - Actual capacity
