Volumetric strain is the ratio of change in volume of the body to the original volume.
Volumetric strain =ΔVV ...(i)
Where V=change in volume=4.18×106 m3

volume of sphere, (V)=43πr3
=43×π×(0.1)3

volumetric strain=4.18×1064.18×103=103
