Since work done is scalar product of force and displacement, it can be calculated as area under the force-displacement plot.
Up to x1 displacement, let the work done be W1
W1=area of right angled triangle=b×h2

W1​ = ((300)×(40))2 = 60 J
But after, x1​, the force becomes negative. Let this work done be W2​​.
W2​​ = ((4530)×(20))2 = 15J
Hence, Total work done = W1​​ + W2​​ = 60 + (-15) = 45 J
