Zeroes of Polynomial:- A real number 'a' is a zero (or root) of the polynomial p(x), if p(a)=0.

Given equation,

q(x)=x+7

Equating the given equation with 0, we get

x+7=0x=-7
Hence, the zero of the given equation is -7.
