Find the zeroes of polynomial x ^ 2 + 7 x + 10 and ,find the relations between zeroes and coefficients.

Solution

$x^{2} + 7 x + 10$
$= x^{2} + 2 x + 5 x + 10$
$= x (x + 2) + 5 (x + 2)$
$= (x + 2) (x + 5)$
$∴ - 2, - 5$ are the zeroes of the polynomial.
Coefficients of $x^{2}$ is $1$
Coefficients of $x$ is $7$
