Open in App
Solution

6x237x
Comparing given polynomial with the general form ax2+bx+c,
We get, a = 6, b = - 7 and c = -3
We have 6x27x3 = 6x29x+2x3
= 3x(2x - 3) +1(2x - 3)
= (3x + 1) (2x - 3)

The value of 6x237x is 0 when 3x + 1 = 0 or 2x - 3 = 0,
i.e., x=13 or x=32

Therefore, the zeroes of 6x237x are 13 and 32.

Sum of zeroes = 13+32=76=(7)6=(Coefficient of x)Coefficient of x2

Product of zeroes =13×32=12=36=Constant termCoefficient of x2.
