Let $P (x) = 6 x^{2} - 7 x - 3$
Zero of polunominal is value of X where $P (x) = 0$
Putting $p (x) = 0$
$6 x^{2} - 7 x - 3$
We find roots using splitting the middle term method
$6 x^{2} - 9 x + 2 x - 3 = 0$
$3 x (2 x - 3) + 1 (2 x - 3) = 0$
$(3 x + 1) (2 x - 3)$
So $3 x + 1 = 0 \Rightarrow x = - \frac{1}{3}$
& $2 x - 3 = 0 \Rightarrow x = \frac{3}{2}$
