Find the zeros of the polynomial ${2 x}^{2} + {5 x}^{2} + 2 x .$

Solution

$2 x^{2} + 5 x^{2} + 2 x = 7 x^{2} + 2 x$
$= x (7 x + 2)$ $7 x + 2 = 0, x = - \frac{2}{7}$
$∴$ zeros of $2 x^{2} + 5 x^{2} + 2 x$ are $0, \frac{- 2}{7}$
