Given equation $2 x - y = 7$
(i) $2 x - y = 7$
If x=2 put the equation we get
$2 \times 2 - y = 7$
$\Rightarrow 4 - y = 7$
$\Rightarrow - y = 7 - 4$
$\Rightarrow y = - 3$

(ii) $2 x - y = 7$
If x=3 put the equation we get
$2 \times 6 - y = 7$
$\Rightarrow 6 - y = 7$
$\Rightarrow - y = 7 - 6$
$\Rightarrow y = - 1$
(3,-1)
(i) $2 x - y = 7$
If x=4 put the equation we get
$2 \times 4 - y = 7$
$\Rightarrow 8 - y = 7$
$\Rightarrow - y = 7 - 8$
$\Rightarrow y = 1$
