$\frac{10}{0+y}+\frac{2}{0-y}=4$

$\Rightarrow \frac{10}{y}+\frac{2}{y}=4$

$\Rightarrow \frac{10-2}{y}=4$

$\Rightarrow \frac{8}{y}=4$

$\Rightarrow 4y=8$

$\Rightarrow y=2$

When $y=0$

$\begin{array}{c}\frac{10}{x+0}+\frac{2}{x-0}=4\\ \frac{10}{x}+\frac{2}{x}=4\\ \Rightarrow \frac{10+2}{y}=4\\ \Rightarrow \frac{12}{y}=4\\ \Rightarrow \frac{8}{y}=\frac{4}{1}\\ \Rightarrow 4x=12\\ \Rightarrow x=\frac{12}{4}=3\\ \therefore x=3\\ y=2\end{array}$
