Find where the angle lies if the terminal arm passes through the following points.
(i) 5,-7 (ii)-8,1 (iii) -3,-3 (iv) 0,2

(i) The given point is (5, 7).
Here, x is positive and y is negative.
i.e., the terminal arm is in quadrant IV.
So, the angle lies in quadrant IV.

(ii) The given point is (8, 1).
Here, x is negative and y is positive.
i.e., the terminal arm is in quadrant II.
So, the angle lies in quadrant II.

(iii) The given point is (3, 3).
Here, both x and y are negative.
i.e., the terminal arm is in quadrant III.
So, the angle lies in quadrant III.

(iv) The given point is (0, 2).
Here, x is 0 and y is positive.
i.e., the terminal arm is on the positive Y- axis.
So, it is a quadrantal angle.
