Solution
The correct option is D
Ultraviolet light
When we want to take the fingerprint of someone, we either spray or immerse their finger in a fluorescent solution for a minimum of 5 seconds to a maximum of 2 minutes.
We use ardrox, basic yellow 40, and thenoyl europium chelate for generating standard black lights.
When the ambient light is lowered in the area, shine on the black light from the object is visible.
Because we have used fluorescent solution and the blacklight, fingerprints will glow in between the solution and the light
In criminal investigations most of the time we use ultraviolet light for the detection of fingerprints.
