For your grade, the first twenty elements are important. You can learn the valencies of first twenty elements (and a few other metals like iron which shows valencies of 2 and 3, zinc which show a valency of 2, copper which shows a valency of 2 and sometimes 1 etc), that would be sufficient. Also, many elements may show variable that is more than one valency. Following is the list of first 30 elements with their names, symbols, atomic numbers and valencies they show
