Solution

The correct option is A Dolly sheep
The first successful animal clone was Dolly sheep on 5thJuly 1996. It was born as a resultant of three mothers, where one provided the egg, another the DNA, and a third carried the cloned embryo. The used for the production of Dolly is somatic cell nuclear transfer, where the cell nucleus from an adult cell is transferred into an unfertilized oocyte whose nucleus has been removed by the process of irradiation. The hybrid cell is then stimulated to divide by an electric shock, and when it develops into a blastocyst it is implanted in a surrogate mother.
So, the correct answer is option B.
