Given, total number of students =92
Number of students in the car =7
Number of buses =5
Let the number of students in each bus be x.
Then, the number of students in 5 buses =5x

Number of students in 5 buses + number of students in the car = total number of students
5x+7=92
Subtracting 7 from both sides of the equation,

5x+77=927
5x=85
Dividing both sides by 5,
5x5=855
x=17

Hence, there were 17 students in each bus.
