The correct option is B C
We can arrange the information in order as :
C is 2nd, A is fourth
E is not the first and last to read, then E will be on third.
Since there are two readers between B and A, so B will be the first reader, and the remaining D will be the last reader.
So the sequence is :
B C E A D.
Clearly, B passed the newspaper to C.
Hence C is the correct answer.
