First law of thermodynamics gives us the relation: δq=ΔU+w Given that δq=1200J w=2100J this implies that ΔU=−900J also ΔU=nCvΔT Cv=3R2 i.e. ΔT=ΔUnCv=2ΔU3nR=−2×9003×5×8.314=−14K ΔT=T2−T1=−14K i.e. T2=113∘C
