Solution

Dear student (1)The flower is a modified shoot because flower has nodes and internodes similar to the vegetative shoot. But the internode is condensed and the numbers of appendages arising from the nodes are numerous. Flowers are meant for the reproduction of the plant.2)The floral leaves are arranged in definite whorls on the thalamus. A general order in which the floral leaves are arranged on the thalamus from outside to inside is calyx (sepals), corolla (petals), androecium (stamens) and gynoecium (pistil). Regards
