(b) Temperature difference between the hottest and the coldest place

The temperature of the Hottest place i.e. Bengaluru is $+22°C$

The temperature of the coldest place is i.e. Lahulspiti is $-8°C$

Therefore, the temperature difference between the hottest and the coldest places$=22-\left(-8\right)=30°C$

(c) Temperature difference between Lahulspiti and Srinagar

The temperature of Lahulspiti is $-8°C$

The temperature of Srinagar is $-2°C$

Therefore, the temperature difference between Lahulspiti and Srinagar$=-2-\left(-8\right)=6°C$

(d) Comparision of the the the temperature of given places

The temperature of Srinagar is $-2°C$

The temperature temperature of Shimla is $+5°C$

Temperature of Srinagar and Shimla taken together$=\left(-2+5\right)=3°C$

$3°C<5°C$, hence, the Temperature of Srinagar and Shimla taken together is less than the temperature at Shimla.

$3°C>-2°C$, hence, the Temperature of Srinagar and Shimla taken together is not less than the temperature at Srinagar.
