Here we don't need to find the exact answer of given question.
Let the present age of father and mother be x and y respectively.

According to S-2 x5y5=98 ............ (i)

According to S-1 x+y=95 ............(ii)

To evaluate the values of x and y both equation (i) and eq. (ii) are necessary. After evaluating value of x Arun's age can be deduced easily using statement 1. Thus to answer the given question all the statements are required.
