Solution

MarksC.I.No. of studentsFrequencyc.f.More than or equal to 00108033More than or equal to 1010207758More than or equal to 20203072715More than or equal to 303040651025More than or equal to 404050551237More than or equal to 505060431552More than or equal to 606070281264More than or equal to 707080160670More than or equal to 808090100272More than or equal to 909010080880More than or equal to 100100110000
From graph Median will be 52
Median by actual calculation:
N = 80(even)
=802
=40
So modal class will be 50-60
l=50,h=10,f=15,
c.f.=37,
Median =l+[h×(N2c.f.)f]
=50+[10(4037)15]
=50+2
=52 Hence Verified.
