Solution

The correct option is C

Mouth Oesophagus Stomach Small intestine Large intestine Anus

Food enters the mouth where it's ground and chewed to form small balls known as a bolus. The bolus enters the oesophagus which transports it to the stomach with the help of cartilage muscles. The stomach breaks down the food further into smaller particles for easy absorption. The nutrition from the food particles are absorbed in the small intestine and the water content is absorbed in the large intestine. Then, the indigestible waste is expelled through the anus, out of the body.
