If u = 0 and a is uniform; s is directly proportional to t2

In 1 sec, s = 0 + 0.5a(1)2 = 0.5a

Ratio of distance covered in 1 sec relative to distance covered in 2 sec = 1:4

Similarly, ratio of distance covered in 1 sec relative to distance covered in 3 sec = 1:9
