The correct option is D (-b/a, 0)
When a curve or a line intersects X-axis then the y-co ordinate will be zero. Because on X-axis the value of y-co ordinate is zero.
Given equation is y=ax+b
Now on substituting y=0 we get ax+b=0
ax=b
x=ba
Therefore the co ordinates are (ba,0)
Therefore, Option C is correct.
