$I_{D 2} = 2.5 m A a t V_{D S 2} = 8 V$

Drain current when MOSFET operated in saturation region at constant $V_{G S}$ is given by
$I_{D} = μ_{n} C_{o x} \frac{W}{2 L} (V_{G S} - V_{T})^{2} (1 + λ V_{D S})$
$∴ \frac{I_{D 1}}{I_{D 2}} = \frac{1 + λ_{D S 1}}{1 + λ V_{D S 2}}$
$∴ λ = \frac{I_{D 2} - I_{D 1}}{V_{D S 2} I_{D 1} - V_{D S 1} I_{D 2}}$
