For a nth order reaction , rate (R):
R=k[A]n
For

R=k[A]2 ...(I)
The graph between rate of reaction and concentration is of the type :
y=mx2, i.e. a parabola
Also, from equation I:
Graph between rate of reaction and (Concentration)2 is of the type y=mx i.e. a straight line passing through origin.
