For a scalene triangle if the sides of a triangle is given but height is not given, how will the area of that triangle be calculated?
The area of the triangle can be calculated by using Heron’s formula
Area of the triangle= √s(s−a)(s−b)(s−c)
where, s is the semi perimeter of the triangle, i.e., (a+b+c)2 and a, b and c are the three sides of the triangle.
