In the course of displacement from x=0 to x=A, the kinetic energy is converted to potential energy, and in course of travelling from x=A to x=0, the reverse happens. Same for x=0 to x=-A and back. So, two complete energy oscillations in T. One complete energy oscillation in T/2 Frequency 2n.
