The efficiency of the cycle $η$ = $1 - \frac{T_{2}}{T_{1}}$
$T_{2}$ = $t_{2}$ + 273
$T_{1}$ = $t_{1}$ + 273
$∴$ 1 - $\frac{T_{2}}{T_{1}}$ = 1 - $\frac{t_{2} + 273}{t_{1} + 273}$ = $\frac{t_{1} - t_{2}}{t_{1} + 273}$
