a=x^ı+y^j+z^k

Given that
(a×^ı)2+(a×^ȷ)2+(a×^k)2
[(x^ı+yj+z^k)×^ı]2+[(x^ı+y^j+z^k)x^ȷ]2+[(x^ı+y^j+z^k)×^k]2
[y^k+z^ȷ]2+[x^kz^ı]2+[x^ȷ+y^ı]2

As we know that [y^k+z^ȷ]2=[(y)2+z2]2=y2+z2

Similarly
y2+z2+x2+z2+x2+y2
2[x2+y2+z2]
also (x2+y2+z2)=|a|2=a2
hence, 2[x2+y2+z2]=2a2
