For every 6 lbs of chocolate, 2 lbs of sugar is recquired as per the chocolate cake recipe. If you're going to use 60 lbs of chocolate in a batch, you'll need pounds of sugar.

According to the recipe 2 lbs of sugar is added to 6 lbs of chocolate.
For the cake according to the recipe, ratio of chocolate to sugar =6:2
For a batch with 60 lbs of chocolate, let the amount of sugar that needs to be added =x lbs
Since the two values must be in proportion for the perfect recipe,
6:2::60:x
62=60x
6x=60×2
x=20 lbs sugar.
